Elekit is specialized in educational electronic kits, but they also make audio product kits. Their Canadian distributor, VK Music commissioned us to develop an upgrade transformer for the latest Elekit unit, the TU-8340VK tube amplifier. LL1527, one of our oldest audio transformer designs, is still in production and still very popular. Many sound engineers have a couple of LL1527 laying around to be used when problem arises. Frequently engineers tell us: “I had some hum in my system, but as soon as I installed one of your magic LL1527, the [...]
Installers of audio systems are often not happy with naked transformers, as these require both soldering and solutions for mounting. In our DIN units you find three of our most popular general purpose transformers, prepared for installation using screw terminals and DIN rails. If no DIN rail is available the DIN unit can easily be [...]
The building style for our tube amplifier transformers is not particularly well suited for DIY amplifier builders.
