Friday June 21 is Midsummers Eve, the most celebrated day in Sweden. This means that our factory will be closed, as we are busy celebrating this traditional feast!!! For those of you who are not familiar with the Swedish midsummer celebrations, watch this film which will inaugurate you in our hedonic traditions.
Our summer holiday shutdown this year will be between July 8 and August 4. We wish you all a pleasant summer!
On the 6th of June we celebrate the National Day of Sweden! As we are busy eating meatballs, pickled herring, strawberries and drinking snaps our factory will be closed on the 6th and also 7th of June (we need time to recover). We wish you all a great weekend!
At Axpona last week we met up with one of our customers, Victor Kung of VK Music, who was displaying amplifiers with Lundahl iron in his booth. One amplifier on display, the Elekit TU-8600R just received a very positive review in the Stereophile April issue.
Gunnel Lundahl, one of our founders and a still active coworker today celebrates her 90th birthday. Our warmest congratulations on your big day, Gunnel!
Our next exhibition is on the horizon! It is held in a convention center located right next to a resort where you can meet these two… Can you guess where we are heading?
One of the most popular projects among our collection of amplifier schematics is the EL34 push-pull amplifier designed and described by Claus Byrith. Based on feedback from builders of this amplifier, Claus has now written a short “Designer’s comments”. You can find the project and the comments here: https://www.lundahltransformers.com/old-fasioned-30w-push-pull-amplifier/
