ISE 2026 – our first time, and definitely not the last

Stepping into Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026 was something entirely different from just reading about it. This was our first time attending, and the feeling? Wow. A massive show – more than 1,700 exhibitors – yet at the same time open, welcoming, and very much… right.

A show that truly fits our industry

ISE felt innovative, creative, and curious. It was easy to talk to people, easy to stop by booths, and easy to get pulled into deep, nerdy conversations about sound, technology, and the future. Exactly the kind of environment where our industry thrives.

Relationships – old and new

One of the highlights was meeting existing customers face to face. There’s something special about finally meeting beyond emails and video calls. At the same time, we made new connections directly on the show floor – spontaneous encounters that quickly turned into meaningful conversations.

A big plus this year was how clearly social media played a role. We were able to:

  • stay connected with our network and community in real time

  • find new friends and potential partners

  • continue building a strong influencer community

In fact, we received an order via social media, while also meeting new contacts who found us simply because they saw us on the show floor. Digital and physical – working together for real.

Lessons from ISE 2026

ISE 2026 taught me a lot – not just about products, but about where the industry is heading. Several trends stood out clearly:

  • Deeper integration between hardware and software

  • Smarter, more flexible systems instead of closed solutions

  • Higher demands for quality, sustainability, and long-term thinking

ISE themselves summed it up well, noting that the show set new records for visitors, exhibitors, and floor space, and thanking the community for helping to “Push Beyond.” You could truly feel it in every hall.

Takeaways – the sound still matters

One of the strongest insights I’m taking with me is this:

Despite all the digital trends, transformers are still essential to achieve truly magical sound.

The analog heritage is not disappearing – it’s being refined. A few additional takeaways worth highlighting:

  • True sound quality still depends on physics, materials, and craftsmanship

  • Hybrid solutions (analog core with digital control) are the future

  • There is growing respect for the “invisible” parts of the audio signal chain

  • Premium sound is becoming an even stronger differentiator as everything else becomes more similar

Final thoughts

ISE 2026 was big, inspiring, and deeply educational. For us, it marked the beginning of something new – new relationships, fresh perspectives, and renewed energy to bring back into everyday work.
