Our new mains transformer LL2792 is specifically designed for 300B tube amplifiers. The 350V secondaries can be used with full wave or with bridge rectifiers. All secondaries can be used individually except for the 2 x 75V windings. These should either be used in series or in parallel, not individually.
Our newcomer, LL1968 is a small size transformer with flying leads designed for microphone design or repair/upgrade. Turns ratio is 2:1, and a center tap is available on the "1" side for phantom power.
Our first transformer with nanocrystalline core, LL2793NC, is now available for purchase. It is a line output transformer, similar to the LL1680 or LL1689 (9+9 : 1+1+1+1), but with turns ratio 4+4 : 1+1+1+1. Nanocrystalline is so far the most exclusive core option in our transformer range. From Rumen Artarski at Thrax Audio, one of our [...]
We will be closed for Christmas holidays from the 23rd of December through the 6th of January.
We released the magnet field from one of our transformers to create this Christmas greeting... Happy Holidays from Lundahl Transformers! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RWGWRYky1Q
Finally our new nanocrystalline C-cores have arrived! We have been looking at nanocrystalline C-cores before, but we have not been satisfied with their quality. These kids looks so much better!!! Initially we plan to develop an interstage and a line output transformer using these C-cores.
This small PCB is designed for some common applications using a few of our pin compatible transformer models. Typical applications would be galvanic isolation or balanced-to-unbalanced conversion. The PCB can be used in combination with a DIN housing, or can be screw mounted without any housing. In addition to the transformer, the board has two holes [...]
